Pump is fully ceramic, made with a plastic pump. Dispenses a good amount of soap, not too much. Only issue I have (it's a small one) is that the description photos show the gray version as having a gold top, and I received a silver one. The photo I took with my hand next to the pump is an accurate representation of the color (the lighting in my bathroom makes it looks more khaki).

This is the perfect soap pump for my bathroom sink. The sink has a rim and this narrow design fits perfectly. The base is sturdy ceramic and I love the gray color. The top dispenses the soap just fine and it's a good size to hold a good quantity of soap.
